Samsung is gearing up for the launch of a new A-series smartphone. The company has, so far, launched a bunch of budget and mid-range phones under the A-series this year. Another smartphone launching under Samsung’s A-series is the Galaxy A03s. The upcoming budget smartphone is expected to launch in India soon as it has received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification. The device has also visited the Wi-Fi Alliance certification website, revealing some key details. Samsung Galaxy A03s Wi-Fi Alliance
Samsung Galaxy A03s is expected to launch soon. Ahead of the official unveiling, the device has visited the Wi-Fi Alliance website. The device listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance website has the model numbers SM-A037F, SM-A037M/DS and SM-A037M. The listing reveals that the phone runs Android 11 out of the box. As expected, it will have a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of the Android mobile operating system.
The phone’s other specs and features have also leaked in the past. It was recently spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-A037F. The listing revealed that the phone features a MediaTek MT6765V SoC, which is the Helio G35 SoC. The variant listed on Geekbench had 4GB of RAM.
It is rumoured to sport a 6.5-inch display with a water-drop notch on top. The device will have a 5MP front camera, according to the leaked information. Samsung’s upcoming budget smartphone will have a triple-camera setup on the back. The device will have a 13MP primary camera, coupled with two other 2MP sensors. Details about the battery capacity remain unknown at the moment. The Galaxy A03s will feature a USB Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
